Holographic Alien

Today I got for you is a simple graphic wall decor piece. I found this cutfile in the Silhouette design store. This particular designs doesn't have a outline that is cut out. Rather the the backing is acting as the outline and you have to figure out where the pieces go.

So when I'm setting up to cut I like to group all the same colors together. So that way it makes it easier. ThenI like to take a picture of the final design to refer back to. When you taking your paper off the sticky mat make sure to bend the mat so that the paper doesn't curl and tear.

I always prefer liguid glue, because it gives you that wiggle room. My favorite is Bearly Arts glue. Then reverse tweezers are my most used crafting tool. It's so helpful to be able to hover over your project and to see before committing. They are a must have!!

So since this design doesn't have an outline it's the most easiet to lay out the pieces where they go before. That way you won't have to peel up the paper. Again the reverse tweezers are great for the smaller pieces.

I added thin foam tape behind all the pieces and added them to a piece of holographic cardstock. I thought the holographic cardstock would go so well with this design.
