I got an easy card for y'all today. It involves making a super easy watercolor background. When I say super easy I mean it. Anybody can do this.
I was inspired by an artist on Instagram for this background. Here name is Farah and does amazing art. Her Instagram handle is @farah.brightart. For the background I used three Tombow Dual Brush Pens. You can use watercolors or any water reactive ink for this.
The purpose is to make a medium thick line of ink and then used a paintbrush to bring out some of the ink to make a lighter wash. You just repeat. I highly suggest you go to @farah.brightart Instagram page to watch her process. Here is a link to the process video of my card. Along the main line of colors I outlined it with a clear glitter gel pen.
For the main image and sentiment I stamped them on white cardstock and clear heat embossed them. I used Ink Road Stamps Spice Little for the image and sentiment. I then fussy cut them and used foam tape to adhere to the background.
