For these tags I used Ink Road Stamps Valentine's Cats, Spotty Background, Valentines Day 2022, and The Stamp Market Tiered Tag die set.

I'm just going to say it. I don't have the patience for any plants. I love plants and the calmness that they bring, but I will forget to keep them alive. So I have fake plants. *GASP* The other reason I prefer fake plants is because I have four cats and a dog.
So when I saw MFT Stamps come out with this adorable die set called Potted Pets I knew I had to have it. But I waited until they had one of their many sales to get it. I also got the companion sentiment stamp called Grow Together which will go well with other plants related products.
Onto the adorable cards that I just absolutely love!
For the die cuts I made swashes of watercolor onto watercolor paper and die cut all the pieces. This is a great way to stretch your supplies. For the eyes and mouths I use a black glaze pen which I don't recommend, because it was kind of a nightmare. Just stick to black cardstock or color white cardstock black.
For the backgrounds I used Simon Says Stamp A2 Masks and Vicki Boutin Where To Next Collection. I did the stenciling directly onto the A2 card bases. I chose a blue since it would help make these adorable potted pets stand out. I first did a light wash of blue in the A2 Masks and I kept that mask in place and added one of the stencils from Where To Next Collection right on top and did a heavier hand with the same blue ink.
Then I white heat embossed three sentiments on black cardstock and cut them out. I used foam tape to adhere the potted pets and sentiments onto the card bases.
