Welcome back! It's been a while since I made a new blog post. Today I got a cute punny love card. I made this card using Global Design Project's challange for three colors. Those were red, pink, and grey. For this card I'm using this adorable stamp set and coordinating dies called We Go Together by Catherine Pooler Designs.

I used the icing from the donut to make those Lofthouse style sugar cookies. Those are one of my favorite cookies. I added the icing on the cookie base with some foam dots.

I stamped the milk carton with the pink ink and then used the corner of my ink cube to ink up the straw with the red ink.

I used a scalloped die to cut out a panel and used a star embossing folder to give texture. The sentiment was stamped with grey ink. The elements were getting lost on the white background. So I took a darker grey ink and lightly went over the raised stars and around the edges. I arranged the elements before adhereing anything down first. The milk carton and sentiment got popped up and the the cookies I used liquid glue for the cookies.

Today I got for you is a simple graphic wall decor piece. I found this cutfile in the Silhouette design store. This particular designs doesn't have a outline that is cut out. Rather the the backing is acting as the outline and you have to figure out where the pieces go.

So when I'm setting up to cut I like to group all the same colors together. So that way it makes it easier. ThenI like to take a picture of the final design to refer back to. When you taking your paper off the sticky mat make sure to bend the mat so that the paper doesn't curl and tear.

I always prefer liguid glue, because it gives you that wiggle room. My favorite is Bearly Arts glue. Then reverse tweezers are my most used crafting tool. It's so helpful to be able to hover over your project and to see before committing. They are a must have!!

So since this design doesn't have an outline it's the most easiet to lay out the pieces where they go before. That way you won't have to peel up the paper. Again the reverse tweezers are great for the smaller pieces.

I added thin foam tape behind all the pieces and added them to a piece of holographic cardstock. I thought the holographic cardstock would go so well with this design.
